Engr. FELE Taiwo was born into the
Ayefele family of Aaye Ore Compund, Ipoti-Ekiti. He had his primary school
education between 1979 and 1985 at C.A.C. Primary School, Ipoti Ekiti where he obtained
his Primary School Leaving Certificate with Distinction grade. In 1986 he proceeded
to Ipoti Community Secondary School, Ipoti Ekiti. Between 1991 and 1993 he
attended Doherty Memorial Grammar
School, Ijero Ekiti where he obtained his Senior Secondary School Certificate
in flying colours. Mr. Fele got admission to Ondo State University, Ado-Ekiti
(now EKSU) to study Computer Science but later transferred to Obafemi Awolowo
University, Ile-Ife where he obtained B.Sc.(Hons) Computer Engineering in 2003. Engr. Fele Taiwo also had Degree of Masters
in Computer Science (2010) from the premier University of Ibadan. He is currently
a Ph.D. student of Computer Science at the Federal University of Technology,
Akure. He is a registered member of Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), Computer
Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN) and Nigerian Society of
Engineers (NSE).
His service to the community include the following;
Patron, Anglican Youth Fellowship, All Souls Anglican Church, Ipoti Ekiti; Public
Relations Officer, Nigeria Computer Society, Ekiti State Chapter; President,
Old Students Association of Ipoti Community Secondary School (’91Set) and President, Ipoti National Student Union
Government. Engineer Fele has received several awards and
recommendations which include: Award of Honour, Ipoti National Students Union; Award
of Excellence, The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti; Merit Award, Federation of
Osun State Students Union, (Crown Poly Chapter). He is an inspirational teacher
known for his creative teaching. He was the pioneer Head of Department,
Computer Engineering, Crown Polytechnic, Odo, Ado-Ekiti and formerly head,
Information and Communication Technology Unit, Ekiti State Pension Commission,
Ado-Ekiti. He is currently a Lecturer at the Computer Science Department of the
Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State. He is happily married.
