This is our Jerusalem, our abode and heritage and as a bonafide indigenes of this town, we have to uphold our heritage alive by being together in peace and unity with ourselves. We must continue to strive for the unity of Ipoti-Ekiti because, it is by continuing efforts that termite builds their own nest. By working together of the teeth make it easier to chew meat. If every one of us can come together as one family in our thinking, reasoning, interest, goal, focus and perseverance, we will move this town forward.
This being the nineteenth edition of this celebration, I wish to use this opportunity once again to call on all Ipoti indigenes not to allow enemies outside there to cause disaffection among us. Once we jointly shun those enemies outside, we render them powerless.
In conclusion, I appreciate all our visitors to this year celebration. Your love, affinity and contributions for Ipoti development shall never be forgotten. My special thanks to all Guests of Honour, Chairman of the occasion, Royal Father and all of you present here today. May God keep you beyond next year celebration and be with you in your journey back to your destination. God bless you all.
